Make A Plan. Take Action.
Here is a quick breakdown of what you getting in this week’s issue:
The clients are lining up. The customers are buying. Your bottom line is rising. Your business is growing and that is exactly what you wanted – right?
Then why are you freaking out on the inside? 😬
Because shifting from being the hands-on creator to a leader, strategist, and manager is no easy task!!
Reader, not only am I right there with you, but I listen to a LOT of podcasts and follow a LOT of well-established, “successful” online business owners who say they experience some level of fear every time their business levels up.
So this is your permission slip to be excited about the “gift of growth” 🎁and have a mini-freakout moment 😫when you open it. But don’t stay that way!
Embrace the changes with excitement, and see them as a vital part of the entrepreneurial adventure. They’re your ticket to achieving even greater success and making a more significant impact with your business. So, go with the flow, and let your growth inspire your new role!
manager is no easy task!!
For the last few months, I have spent every Monday on a 4+ hour co-working call with a few other biz owners. It’s been INCREDIBLE for productivity!
Here’s how it works:
☕10-15 minutes of chatting
🎯Share what we commit to accomplish in the next 30-45 min
⏲️Set a timer, mute ourselves, and get to work!
✅We check in to share what we’ve completed, ask for feedback, share frustrations we are experiencing, encourage one another, and then do it all again.
Truth: A lot of people do what you do. Your service isn’t unique. Your product isn’t the only solution available. So why should someone invest their hard-earned money 💰 in what you have to offer?
Because YOU are part of what they are buying. Your personality, your method of problem-solving, your attention to detail, your ability to teach…
You bring something to the table that no one else has and you need to market that to your advantage!!
Example: I am a coffee-obsessed math/physics geek 🤓 living the RV full-time lifestyle with my husband & 3 kids. I have a “big personality” and share my behind-the-scenes life because it makes me relatable and memorable.
You don’t have to be me. In fact, you shouldn’t be me.
manager is no easy task!!
1) Review what’s been accomplished since the last meeting and ask for feedback.
2) Review what is still being worked on: ask clarifying questions, show what isn’t working, provide solutions, and address concerns.
3) Review goals for next month/quarter, opportunities that could be taken advantage of, and/or things that need to be reprioritized.
Create and share your agenda with everything that will be covered before the call to set expectations!
Building meaningful connections isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about cultivating relationships founded on trust and shared goals. These connections can lead to collaborations, partnerships, and, most importantly, referrals!
By actively nurturing and expanding your network, you’re not only enriching your professional life but also tapping into a wellspring of potential for your business.
So expand your horizons, and let the power of your network drive your business to new heights!
